ADMINISTRATIVE SUSPENSION

The most common method when a driver is suspended is when he has accumulated 12 or more points with the DMV. The DMV will suspend the driver as a persistent violator. Another type of scenario is when the driver is suspended because he fails to attend court on a traffic summons. Finally, another method wherein a driver can be suspended is when he does not pay his court fines or insurance surcharges.
